Learn to play a musical instrument

This is where the internet becomes useful. If you have a musical instrument, you can Youtube almost anything and learn how to play right from the comfort of your own home. If you like to be more social, this is an excellent opportunity to take a class with other eager students like yourself. Plus, music is a great craft to submerge yourself into. Once you’ve achieved some success, it can be a very satisfying accomplishment. Some great starter instruments include ukulele, the recorder (get a sweet-sounding wooden one if you don’t want a plastic whistle-induced migraine), or the drums.

Play those brain games

Get out those crossword puzzles. Or you can be like Stanley from The Office and play those search-a-word games or start solving those sudoku puzzles.
